  Today, there are many options in retirement living; from home ownership in active adult communities to    comprehensive retirement campuses offering a guarantee of continuing care and from free-standing assisted living facilities to buildings offering different care levels. Some are for profit corporations while others are not-for-profit, mission-driven organizations.
