We understand that you, as a friend and business partner of Wesley Homes, may have questions about the recent incident at Wesley Homes Health Center and would have a special interest in knowing what steps have been taken to ensure this does not happen again.
State and Federal privacy laws prohibit us from discussing the care provided to the resident and the circumstances surrounding the incident but we felt the need to communicate what we can with you. These laws also require that we provide free access to and from the facility for our eligible residents. Please know that the care and well-being of our residents is our number one priority. To offer additional safety to our residents we have enhanced 24 hour staffing at the front desk at Wesley Homes Health Center and tightened the alarm system on all exit doors. Wesley Homes has been serving older adults since 1944 and has a strong reputation in the community. We are guided by our mission and focused on providing high quality care for our residents.
