Boeing and Nordstrom bring cheer to residents
Wesley Homes Health Center residents received gifts yesterday as part of the Boeing Adopt a Senior program. The Boeing company adopted 130 skilled nursing residents and 40 assisted living residents. “We give them some gift ideas and Boeing employees bring something for each resident to be given to them at our Christmas parties,” said Cindy Marceyes, Activites Director. “It means so much to our residents.”
To thank the Boeing employees, we send pictures with a Thank You card to them. Wesley Homes Health Center has been a recipient of this program for at least five years. Despite the down economy, Boeing adopted more seniors this year than before providing more generous gifts.
Nordstrom at Southcenter was also generous in their donation of 80 large poinsettias to the community. “They, too, have brought great joy to everyone,” said Marceyes. The pointsettias will be used as decorations around the community and as gifts for families, residents and volunteers.

this is such a kind and generous thing for Boeing and Nordstrom to do and it demonstrates how Wesley Homes can build wonderful relationships with a caring corporate world that will benefit our residents.
